Built by the Taylor family.
Backed by faith. Built to give.
Taylor Family Software, the Christian-owned indie software studio founded by Chris Taylor in 2026 in Kingman, Arizona, that builds FlowLister, Black & Gold SEO and Memories Made Music.
Who founded Taylor Family Software?
Taylor Family Software LLC was founded in 2026 by Chris Taylor, also known as Christopher Taylor, in Kingman, Arizona.
Chris Taylor is co-owner of Taylor Family Store LLC, an hourly estate sale company in Kingman established in 2023, and president of Tools for Teens, a nonprofit that helps teens and young adults turn their passions into employable skills and credentials.
He builds, writes, and supports every product himself: FlowLister, Black & Gold SEO, Memories Made Music, and three games.
Who's behind this?
One builder. Every line.
Chris Taylor: founder, software builder, husband, Christian. I started Taylor Family Software because the kind of software I wanted to use didn't exist yet, and I'd rather build it than complain about it.
I'm a hands-on builder. Every product on this site has my fingerprints on the code, the copy, and the support emails. There's no marketing team. There's no sales team. If you write to chris@taylorfamilysoftware.com, you reach me directly, and I usually answer within a few hours.
We're family-owned. Indie. No VC money, no growth-at-all-costs pressure. Profitable products that solve real problems for real people. Currently shipping Invest-A-Gator (free browser strategy game), Yolk Hoops (free egg-basketball arcade game), Dodge the Dumps: Flush Hour (arcade survival, free for twenty minutes, then $14.99 once for the Unlimited Pass), FlowLister (AI eBay listing tool), Black & Gold SEO (all-in-one SEO platform), and Memories Made Music (turn any photo into an original song).
The why: I spent years using software where the priority was the next funding round, not me. Tools that nickel-and-dimed every feature. Companies that treated their customers like extraction targets. I wanted to build the opposite kind of software (fairly priced, durable, with real free options where it makes sense) and have it be a small slice of how a Christian family does work in the world.
That's it. No big mission statement. Just a small studio shipping things we'd want to use ourselves, with a giving structure that makes sure the wins flow back out.

The pledge
We give back 15% of every dollar we earn. 7.5% to our local church. 7.5% to Tools for Teens.
Profit isn't the point. People are. This pledge is permanent.
What we believe
Software should be honest, fast, and useful.
Customers are neighbors, not metrics.
Free things should genuinely be free.
Invest-A-Gator and Yolk Hoops have no paywalls, no ads, no upsells.
Paid things should clearly earn their price.
FlowLister, Black & Gold SEO, and Memories Made Music charge, and pay you back many times over.
Support should be handled by someone who can fix the product.
Faith comes first. Family second. Company third.
Things stay healthy when the order is right.
