How it works

The basket is only half the play.

One shot, two skills. Points do not count until the same egg lands safely in the mitt.

  1. Launch the egg

    Point toward the hoop and follow the dotted arc. Release to toss. Space gives you a friendly starting shot.

  2. Make the basket

    A clean bucket arms the points, but don’t count your chickens yet. The egg is still falling.

  3. Hatch a catch

    Move the teal catcher under your falling egg. Catch it after the basket to bank it before it meets the floor.

No shell left behind.

The golden rule: a basket only counts after the catch. You have five hearts. Keep them all for three stars, finish with at least three for two stars, or reach the goal for one.

Is Yolk Hoops still free?
Yes. The Sunny Side Tour is free in your browser, with no account or purchase needed.
How do I score?
Toss the egg down through the hoop, then catch it. A basket alone does not bank a point. You have five hearts per challenge.
How do stars work?
Finish with all five hearts for three stars, at least three hearts for two stars, or complete the goal for one. There are 12 challenges and 36 stars.
Can I play on a phone?
Yes. Aim with a finger, release to toss, and move to catch. Landscape gives the court more room.
What is the Daily Yolk?
One of the tour challenges is picked for your local date. You can jump straight to it from the home screen.
Where are my old saves?
The new edition saves separately in your browser. Your old progress is untouched and remains available in the original edition linked below.
